This was our Memorial Day!

John caught a fish,
a wagon ride,

Cait tries to do the pulling,

our kids. Bill met us at Mom and Dad's for dinner. I had gone earlier to take them swimming and poor Bill has been busy repairing the ceiling. The kitchen is getting closer.....soon I can post 'after' pics! Thanks Mom and Dad for a great dinner.

Well.....school is officially over. AFter all the parties, picnics, ice cream socials, and field trips I think I am glad! We are pretty tired over here, at least I am. We leave for Jacksonville the 2nd week of June to visit my friend Portia and her 3 kids!! We got nothing until then. Lots of swimming at Grandma's.

I found this picture of Owen. Isn't he sweet? Today and tomorrow are it for school! today we have the 2nd grade picnic and Owen has his ice cream social. We also have a meeting with John's speech teacher to discuss his IEP...he's has made such improvements! I don't think he really even needs speech anymore, I'm sure they will disagree. We'll see. More photos to come after the events of today. I'm tired just thinking about it all!

Cait and I went with Owen and his class to the Botanical Gardens today. Bill went with John and his class on another field trip today as well. We have only 1 week left of school and our days are very busy until next Friday. I can't wait until summer break!
