We are supposed to go on our annual apple picking trip this Thursday. We just don't know yet if there will be gas to get home and the campground's reservable sites are all booked! We will call tomorrow am and again Thursday to see how many non-reservable sites are available. We've gone every fall since Zach was 3!

1st screen on the green

Last night we went to Candler Park for the 1st Screen on the Green. They showed Shrek. We brought blankets and a few snacks and had a great time. No pictures because it was.......dark! The kids had so much fun and many neighborhood/school friends were there. I love where we live. The kids were all running around before the movie and being silly and rolling down the hill and just having fun.
I will be riding my bike to the Market (with my new panniers) this am and we have recruited 2 new Moms! We may have to get shirts made up or something!

Happy Birthday John!

I would love to post some other pics, but Billy has been trying to do 'something' with my computer.....ahem....where are my pictures, dear. Our John is 8! Cannot believe it's his birthday already. John is our old soul so in some ways his birthdays seem.....like they have already happened? He often seems older than he is and we always say 'he's been here before'. The world has great things in store for John. We love you John and Happy B-day!

John's actual b-day is Wed. and we had his party today. John invited 3 friends plus G'ma, G'pa, Uncle Mark and Aunt Tara. Thank you so much for coming. John had a good time and I know he felt loved. What a great family we have.
