We went out last night without kids!!! We went to a neighborhood party with a 70's theme. Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids. We had so much fun. There was a live band loads of friends and just fun! We even went out afterwards with a few friends for coffee and waffles. Been a long time!

We had planned to give them cake and ice cream and then run around the land trust.....just as I served the last piece it started to pour. Oh well. We had pizza and a movie-thon! I think they had fun and did even get some sleep...but not a lot! Z is officially 10 on the 25th but we'll be in Annapolis. cute boys. sigh, sometimes I really do wish things would slow down. these are such fun ages. I need to remember that today as I know it will be rough. 3 tired boys does not make for a good day. Oh well, it will be an early night at least!

Z took a mental health day...sometimes you just need to! We went to the Botanical Gardens and while it was a bit cold we still had a good time. Thanks Bill!

Where was Zach in all this you ask? Why he was working on his @#$% science project.....ALL WEEKEND. What 9 yr old knows what an abstract is let alone how to literally type one up? The lovely project is due Wed and i can't wait for it to be gone. He has been such a trooper about the whole thing. We felt so bad that he really didn't get to play at all this weekend. Yuck.

I did get my ride in to the Farmers mkt on Sunday and that is always fun. I ran into an old friend there too...hi Jill!

This morning we got up threw on some clothes, jumped on our bikes and went to the Carter Center. We found this great maple tree which was almost all yellow. Z and Bill worked on his huge science project the rest of the day. Some of these projects are just ridiculous. We went up to the Artists Market at school around 4. We are all tired.

Last night the climbing coach called and wanted to know if Z,J and Bill wanted to join the climbing team on an excursion this am. They left around 7 this morning. They will be doing some real rock climbing in N Georgia. John was VERY excited and Z was a bit unsure (unknown things are not his favorite). I know they will have a great time. o was a bit sad he wasn't old enough to go but we'll think of something fun for us here.
