We didn't get it and we were pretty bummed. We are living in the first story of an old sunday school building which is just a block or 2 from our old house. The closing went very smoothly. Strange not to be in our little house. We do have a contract on another house in Cumming. It's not the other house but it will be good.

The owners have 'accepted' our offer now we wait to hear from the bank. We are still packing like crazy. We had a potluck dinner tonight with 2 of our neighbors. Much fun. I don't want to leave.

no time to blog

I have been packing like mad. We close June 30. We made an offer on a house and it was rejected. We made a new offer on another house yesterday. We have some friends who rent out the bottom 1/2 of their house so we will stay there until we have a permanent home. Fun times.

He doesn't look that big in this picture but he was HUGE! I took this pic when Cait and I were out for a morning bike ride. Right after we took this pic he looked at us and swam on over, about 3 feet from us, opened his huge mouth and 'roared' .......a lot. Scared Cait and me to death. Never have I pedaled so fast. After we were a safe distance away we turned around and saw a smaller alligator cross the path behind us. After talking to the ranger we think he was making a mating call and the smaller one was a female. A little scary.

We had 8 wonderful days at the beach. We took a much needed break from reality. The first 2 days are a blur. Lots of tag-team napping from the parents. We are still potentially home-less! I want to go back to the beach. Reality is not very fun.

Bill- wish we could live on love. How big do boxes come? String 6 together? hmmmm

maybe.........

We have narrowed our search to 2 homes. We will probably make an offer today. I'll post when we have an accepted offer. Not sure what will happen. Both houses are 'short-sales' so that could be tricky. Cross all fingers and toes please.

Zach was very excited as he was 1 of only 3 4th graders playing an instrument in the parade (rest were 5th graders). This parade is one of our favorite end the year activities.

Today is the last day of school!! Can't believe we have a 5th grader!

Last night was too nice to eat dinner inside so we packed a picnic and went to the land trust! Eating ouside is the best.
