We are back!

We had a great trip. Lots of apples, hiking, biking. climbing, playing in the river and lots of rain. Still had fun though. We love this trip with our friends the Pucketts. More pics to follow.

I went in to check on John before going to bed last night and this is what I saw.

We leave tomorrow for the NC mountains! We will be picking a lot of apples! Can't wait.
Pucketts will be meeting us there as usual. One of our fav trips.

Tomorrow he is having 2 friends over to sleep out in the back yard. Hope we get some sleep over here. He was so happy to get his first pocket knife. I think he had a good day. Hard to believe he's 9.

We are so fortunate that all the rain did not affect us other than giving us a day off of school!

It's been raining all week. We couldn't take it anymore. The boys are building a fort under the porch. I am hoping they do NOT come running into the house covered in red clay/mud. I know we need the rain but we need to play outside too!

We have a new boy scout in the family. Never have I seen a boy so excited about something! He wore his uniform for 3 days straight. Yea for Owen and Billy!

this is for Lori.....she has been complaining that I don't have any pics of the house. I am starting to get the urge to paint. Bill says 'no'! I really don't like ecru walls though. We'll see how long I can hold out.
