We finally went to the pool today and really had a good time. The days of summer are numbered. Let the boys stay out late just running around in the yard and having fun. They have a bit more freedom here and that is so nice. Tomorrow the rest of our stuff should get here. Glad to have our stuff but not looking forward to unpacking. night

Our new (fancy) washer and dryer was delivered today! Bill is in DC so I installed the whole thing myself! Who knew?

Our washer and dryer is supposed to get her tomorrow!!!!! We have been without for over a week now. Torture. So much laundry to do. Bill leaves for DC tomorrow. yuck.

one of the boys left this on the ground she found it and very quietly snuck out the back door to try it out. She put the holster on by herself too. Annie Oakley? The kids know I hate guns and the only reason we have this was for a halloween constume....I thought it got put away. hmmm.
Cait and I got stung by bees tonight. Ouch.
We are LOVING our new space. The older 2 boys were at climbing camp Mon-Fri so we have not been home much. I would drive them in every morning (had to be there by 9) and find something to do until 4. We really liked not having to leave the house today. Every day one or two of the kids says how much they love our new house. Hope school goes as well!

Couldn't get the truck. don't ask. We'll get it tomorrow. I am sure we could use the sleep anyway. I'd post a pic of where we have been staying but I packed my cable. Everything is in a box. wish us luck tomorrow.

We rent a truck today and close tomorrow at 10 am. We had fun last night in the park with lots of friends and neighbors. I'd show you some pictures but as I pulled out my camera to take the 1st one the battery died. sigh.
I am tired of packing!

and for a parting gift.....

Our truck was broken into. Thank you so very much. Sometimes I am VERY glad we are leaving. The crime is so old. Get a job and stop feeling like you have the right to take from someone else. IT IS OLD. AND PULL UP YOUR PANTS.

We close next Thursday! All is done and ready to go. The house appraised at more than we are paying so that is a nice little bonus! Let the repacking begin. Oh joy.

We had a great time at dinner last night! All of our neighbors got together for a 'farewell' dinner and it was so nice. Tons of kids, food, and fun. We will really miss our neighbors. I forgot to bring my camera so no pics. Less than 2 weeks before we move. We are all excited and nervous and sad.

We didn't get it and we were pretty bummed. We are living in the first story of an old sunday school building which is just a block or 2 from our old house. The closing went very smoothly. Strange not to be in our little house. We do have a contract on another house in Cumming. It's not the other house but it will be good.
