Friday morning we decided we needed a change of scenery and a last hurrah before school......so we went to the beach! Some of us were having a hard time shifting gears from moving to not moving and the beach is our fav place to go so we did. We had never been to Tybee Island but it is only 4 hrs away so we gave it a try. It's really a 'red neck' beach and VERY crowded but it had sand and the ocean. We had a great time and are feeling energized for the new week. We all got a bit too much sun and too little sleep but are glad we went. Poor Owen got stung by a jelly and had a pretty good reaction but that was the only casuality. A good time was had.

My boys are all home! They had an amazing trip and I'll have to pull some pictures off the camera I gave John (should be interesting). I really missed them and really appreciated the break. First one in 8 yrs as Bill pointed out! I am missing my 'nap time' with Cait! I had forgotten how nice that can be. We have only 2 weeks before school starts! I don't want summer to end.

today Cait and I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play in the baby pool in their backyard. Thank you G and G for sharing your house with us! We are missing the boys and every time we get in the car Cait points to the empty seats wondering where they are. They are having fun with Nanny and Grandad. I have rediscovered 'nap time'! I will be a new Mommy when they return.

No pictures because I didn't think anyone wanted to see Cait throwing up. It's been 24 hours.....why hasn't she stopped? Last night she was up every 1-2 hours......why only when Bill is out of town does someone get sick? If I wasn't cleaning up vomit I was changing a VERY messy diaper. Poor thing is very thirsty. She drinks water or nurses and almost immediately throws up. I hope today is better. I REALLY hope the boys don't get it. sigh

Cait is working very hard on dressing herself. Any pants left on the floor are fair game for her! She really loves Owen's clothes. I might add she is almost 18m and Owen is 4 and still doesn't like to dress himself!!

Happy belated 4th. We had a great a relaxing day. We had dinner with Tara and then we all went up to Freedom park to watch fireworks! Uncle Mark had better look out.....I know 2 little boys who are very smitten with Tara!
