I love having access to Kathy's blog.I'm in San Antonia for a conference this week and have been enjoying my stay on the Riverwalk. To the left is a picture of the Alamo. I've not been and am not going because the real one was destroyed and what they have up there now is a "re-creation". I have, however, enjoyed the local cuisine, which consists of Mexican food and beef. My boss, Fran, who used to live here, took me to a restaurant last night where they served ceviche (sp?). The real stuff. Chunks of fish so large I had to cut them. Puts El Vallarta (Marshville, NC) to shame. Leaving tomorrow (Fri) for Atlanta, where I will re-join my family after they've all been sick. Thanks Nanny and Grandad.
